APPLY NOW: Academy for Emerging Leaders in Patient Safety

Since 2010, the Academy for Emerging Leaders in Patient Safety (AELPS) has been transforming residents, fellows, and students into future healthcare leaders through immersive patient safety workshops across the country.  During our 4-day interactive trainings, we provide the tools, knowledge, and mindset shift necessary for learners to become patient safety leaders.

Applications are being accepted through January 15, 2024 for the AELPS sessions coming this summer.  The MedStar Health Institute for Quality and Safety is providing some full scholarships for MedStar residents and fellows.  Visit the AELPS page on Starport (Scholarship Opportunities under Education & Training) for more information and to apply.  Seats and scholarships are limited.
