Dean Jamie Padmore
Jamie S. Padmore is vice president of Academic Affairs at MedStar Health.
Jamie S. Padmore is vice president of Academic Affairs at MedStar Health. In this role, she has strategic and operational oversight for Graduate Medical Education (GME), continuing medical education, faculty development, medical staff credentialing and physician well-being at MedStar Health. She serves as the Designated Institutional Official (DIO) for the MedStar Health GME Consortium, which includes more than 1,100 residents and fellows enrolled in more than 90 clinical training programs.
In addition, Padmore is the senior associate dean for medical education at Georgetown University Medical Center (GUMC) and principal liaison for medical student clinical education at MedStar Health’s clinical sites. She is the founder and co-director of the MedStar Health Teaching Scholars Program, and established Georgetown’s Office of Educational Scholarship. She holds the rank of professor in the GUMC Department of Surgery.
Nationally recognized for her published research on academic remediation and due process, clinical competence assessment and the clinical learning environment, Padmore is often sought after as a consultant in medical education. She was honored as the inaugural recipient of Georgetown University’s designation of Distinguished Educator.
Padmore received her Bachelor of Science from the Ohio State University College of Medicine, and her Master of Science and Doctor of Management from the University of Maryland. She is a 2007 Harvard-Macy Scholar, and also holds a certificate in leadership from Georgetown University and a certificate in medical education research from the Association of American Medical Colleges.
Padmore has held leadership roles on several national organizations, including the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) Group on Educational Advancement, Group on Resident Affairs, and served three elected terms as AAMC’s national section chair for Graduate Medical Education. She also has served as an officer and board member for the Alliance of Independent Academic Medical Centers. She is an active member of the Association of Medical Educators in Europe. Locally, Padmore serves as faculty with the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences Program Director Training Course, the Veterans Affairs Medical Center Deans’ Committee and Maryland Health Services Cost Review Commission.

Jennifer Remington, MHSA
Jennifer Remington is assistant vice president of Graduate Medical Education (GME) at MedStar Health.
Jennifer Remington is assistant vice president of Graduate Medical Education (GME) at MedStar Health. In this role, she provides operational leadership and strategic direction for GME within the MedStar system. In addition, she serves at the institutional coordinator for the MedStar Health GME Consortium.
Remington previously served as the director of Medical Education at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. Prior to that, she was the director of GME and Designated Institutional Official for MedStar Georgetown University Hospital.
Remington received her Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University and her Master of Health Services Administration from The George Washington University. She is a graduate of the American Association of Medical Colleges (AAMC) GME Leadership Development Program and served on the AAMC Group on Resident Affairs steering committee.

Jonathan Davis, MD
Jonathan Davis, MD, is an attending emergency medicine physician at MedStar Washington Hospital Center (MWHC) and MedStar Georgetown University Hospital (MGUH).
Jonathan Davis, MD, is an attending emergency medicine physician at MedStar Washington Hospital Center (MWHC) and MedStar Georgetown University Hospital (MGUH). In addition, he is Professor & Academic Chair of Emergency Medicine at Georgetown University School of Medicine and for MedStar Emergency Physicians. System roles include work as the System Physician Chair for Graduate Medical Education (GME) for MedStar Health. His previous experience includes service as an attending emergency physician at Stanford University Medical Center, Palo Alto, CA.
Dr. Davis is a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) and the American Academy of Emergency Medicine (AAEM). He has received several other honors for his teaching and research, including a National Faculty Teaching Award from ACEP. He has also been chosen as a National Emergency Medicine Program Director of the Year by AAEM.
Dr. Davis is active in several professional societies. He was selected to serve as chair for the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine’s Graduate Medical Education Committee. He also was selected to serve as chair of the Education Committee for ACEP. Dr. Davis is certified in Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
He is frequently invited to speak at meetings of professional societies. His lecture topics have ranged from acute care topics to academic and clinical advancement and leadership. Dr. Davis is a peer reviewer for several publications, including Academic Emergency Medicine and the Journal of Emergency Medicine. His research has been published in scientific journals, including the Journal of Emergency Medicine, Annals of Emergency Medicine, Emergency Medicine Clinics of North America and the Journal of Graduate Medical Education. He serves as an Associate Editor for Rosen’s Emergency Medicine, which is among the most frequently referenced resources in the specialty both nationally and internationally.
He received his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine Summa Cum Laude. He completed residency training in emergency medicine at Stanford University Medical Center, where he was selected to receive the Award for Clinical Excellence at the time of graduation.

Dr. Davis and colleagues presented an abstract and poster on this project at an ACEP Annual National Research Forum, San Francisco, CA.
Evaluation of the Role of Immature Granulocyte and Band Counts in Emergency Department Clinical Decision Making
Dr. Davis is a principal investigator on this project funded by a Graduate Medical Education Grant from MWHC.
